Even though it was a cold November day, the atmosphere was positive and engaged when we held our very first community meeting with the residents of Blomsterengen yesterday. The interest was unmistakable, as around 50 residents turned up to help shape the community in the area. The meeting featured discussions, exchanges of ideas, and plenty of enthusiasm, and there was broad support for creating the framework for a strong and active neighborhood.
Several new groups were launched during the meeting:
Residents' association: A group of residents is now working on establishing an official residents' association.
Activity group: Starting out with enjoyable activities such as knitting, walks, and other shared interests.
Neighborhood assistance group: Focusing on safety, cooperation, and good neighborliness.
Party and events group: Plans are already underway for Christmas celebrations, summer parties, Shrove Tuesday, and Halloween.
Yesterday showed a strong desire to lift Blomsterengen together â and that bodes well for future activities and unity in the area. We look forward to following the new initiatives and supporting the good neighborliness that is beginning to blossom. đą
