Chair exercises and snowfall
Santa Claus had been so happy yesterday, but today he is quiet again.
He sits on his chair in front of the fireplace and stares into the flames, while the elves stand and watch him.
"He's been sitting there for almost a month," Nova sighs.
"You can actually do gymnastics on a chair," Norbert suddenly says.
"Nonsense," laughs Nille, a little confused.
"No, they do it in the community center on Bronzealdervej in Grauballe!" Norbert replies. "Chair exercises—everyone can join in! And they've been sponsored with T-shirts by Nordhusene. It looked really cozy."
"That's a good idea," says Niels. "Exercise makes you happy. Come on, let's get Santa Claus up."
"SANTA! LOOK HERE!" Norbert shouts so loudly that Santa jumps up in fright. The elves rush over to support him.
"My legs are tingling," he laughs weakly. "But look—I'm standing up!"
"Come and see, Santa," Nova tries. "It's snowing—and the reindeer are ready!"
Santa slowly walks to the window, smiles a little, and then returns to his chair.
"We'll try again tomorrow," whispers Nille. 🎅✨'
